Day 1 New York
At least a few days before the trip will satisfy your New York curiosity. Get a neon news-feed at Times Square or mingle with locals in Central Park.
Day 2 Boston
Travel east to Boston and visit Faneuil Hall marketplace or catch a Red Sox game if they're in town.
Day 3 Albany
Meet the leaders of the future at prestigious Harvard University. In the afternoon, journey south to Albany and admire its grand Victorian architecture.
Day 4 Niagara Falls
The destination of choice for many couples popping the question or sealing the deal, Niagara Falls is a favourite for lovers and lovers of nature. View the falls from the USA side then see them close-up on a thrilling boat ride along Horseshoe Basin.
Day 5 Gettysburg
Arrive on the scene where the famous 1863 Gettysburg battle of the American Civil War was played out. From bloody battles to the legendary Gettysburg Address, history buffs are sure to get a kick out of this town's vivid history. Be sure to stop at quaint Dobbin House Tavern, built in 1776.
Days 6-7 Washington DC
All the big names are here - the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument and Capitol Hill. DC boasts a fusion of cultures in U Street, superb museums and impressive buildings at every turn.
Day 8 New York
Stop into Philadelphia on the way back to NYC. Jam-packed with iconic pockets and legendary landscapes, diverse culture and world-renowned cuisine, this city moves fast - and the only way to see NYC is to keep up with it. Take a day trip to Coney Island or head to Midtown's MoMA to mingle with Picasso, Pollock and friends.
